Formed in 2008 by Second City and iO grads, Butch LaRue sketches celebrate larger-than-life characters and unconventional situation captured in moments of time. How does behavior outside of our comfort zone relate to our own sense of identity and community?  Are fish-out-of-water circumstances our greatest opportunity to reinvent who we are? Through song, satire and slice-of-life observations, and drawing on perspectives ranging from slightly dark to absurdist, Butch LaRue presents its unique take on human behavior and relationships.
