Butch LaRue - Classy Sketch Comedy
“BUTCH LARUE: SHOTGUN WEDDING PLANNER”
OPENS NOVEMBER 6th AT THEATRE BUILDING CHICAGO
CHICAGO – Foul-mouthed penguins on the lam, out-of-control kids and way-off-Broadway musical numbers are just the beginning for Butch LaRue’s third Chicago sketch revue.
Butch LaRue’s irreverent sketch revue takes a turn toward the absurd in “Butch LaRue: Shotgun Wedding Planner,” opening November 6th at Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Expect to laugh out loud at Butch LaRue’s take on relationships and social situations from the bedroom to the boardroom.
Anything is fair game for performers Robby Ehlert, Colleen Farrell, Amy Leuenberger, Jeff Policky, Mike Smith and Jeremy Vosko, who will charm you with larger-than-life characters and the occasional tune. The show is directed by Alex Fendrich, a veteran of iO and the Second City e.t.c. stage.
The group’s last show, “Butch LaRue and the Underwear Gang” played to sold-out audiences at Theatre Building Chicago.
“Butch LaRue: Shotgun Wedding Planner” opens at Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont Avenue, Friday, November 6th, at 10:30 pm. Through December 18th: Fridays at 10:30 pm; No show Friday, November 27. Tickets are $15.
