Butch LaRue - Classy Sketch Comedy
BUTCH LARUE
AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR PENGUIN SUIT
March 1, 2010 – Chicago, IL – Butch LaRue, a Chicago comedy troupe, has announced the opening of its 4th classy sketch comedy revue, Butch LaRue and the Amazing Technicolor Penguin Suit, opening Wednesday, April 14 at The Pub Theater.
Butch LaRue and the Amazing Technicolor Penguin Suit
Sketch comedy group Butch LaRue takes a turn toward the absurd in their fourth irreverent revue. Wayward fairy-tale characters, out-of-control kids, and way-off-Broadway musical numbers are just the beginning. Expect to laugh out loud at Butch LaRue’s take on relationships and social situations from the bedroom to the boardroom. Anything is fair game for these performers, who will charm you with larger-than-life characters and the occasional tune. The group’s last show at the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival played to sold-out audiences. Don't miss their return engagement!
Written and Performed by Jeremy Vosko, Amy Hoak, Colleen Farrell, Amy Leuenberger, Mikey Smith and Robby Ehlert.
Wednesdays @ 8:00 pm, April 14 through May 26. No Show Wednesday, May 5th!
The Pub Theater, Second Floor of Fizz Bar, 3220 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.

About Pub Theater Company
The Pub Theater Company (PTC) is a relative newcomer to the Chicago comedy scene. However, in three short years, PTC has managed to carve out a significant portion of the Chicago comedy market, rivaling many veteran theaters by using a mix of well-crafted shows, relentless marketing, and personal attention towards their theater patrons. Much of PTC’s success is due to its flagship show, “Bye Bye Liver: The Chicago Drinking Play,” now in its third year. For more information, visit ThePubTheater.com.
